Pests here do not arrive on a schedule a calendar understands. They arrive on the weather. A wet spring pushes crickets and spiders toward lit walls, a dry stretch drives ants indoors looking for water, and the first cool nights send scorpions toward whatever is warm, which is usually your slab.
So the first visit is a read of the property rather than a spray of the house. Where is the water sitting, where does the mulch touch the siding, which side gets the evening light and therefore the insects that follow it. Perimeter first, interior only where it earns its place
Most of the work happens outside. The perimeter is where the pressure is, and treating it well is what keeps the interior quiet. Entry points, the ground line, the places where the structure meets the soil and the beds that hide both.
Interior work is targeted rather than blanket. If something is getting in at a particular point, that point gets attention. Treating every room of a house that has an ant trail in one corner is theatre, and it puts product where nobody needed it.
Chapter 03
What having pets and children in the house actually changes
It changes the conversation before it changes the treatment. Tell the office when you book that there are animals or small children on the property and the technician knows what he is walking into, where the bowls are, which rooms the dog sleeps in and which gate has to stay shut.
